Kiyotaki is located in the northeast area of Kyoto city. You can go there from Arashiyama by bus. It takes about a half an hour.
Kiyotaki village is quietly silent in winter because there are few turists.

I went to Kiyotaki on the day when it snowed. Kiyotaki river running along the Kiyotaki village is always clear and cold. The vermilion bridge stood out in the black and white world.  While walking, the snow piled on the trees makes a small sound in the chill and quiet air.
